A wet and cold weekend of racing embraced us at Sonoma Raceway for the SVRA Speedtour, which led to some “interesting” racing as most of us California racers don’t even own rain tires. Luckily our SRC race was on a mostly drying track, but several of the other sessions were in the wet. While some of competitors sat out the wet sessions, Troy Tinsley gave it a try and spun out on the pace lap (wearing slicks) which lead to a start from the back of the pack and eventual abandonment after a couple laps.
